“Blessings Follow Me” is a song recorded by Zambian singer-songwriter Yo Maps as his second single for the year 2021. Sponsored by Kalandanya Music Promotions, the song was released on May 13th, 2021 via the artist’s Youtube channel.
“Blessings Follow Me” generated over half a million streams on Youtube alone within just a little over three weeks after its release. The song’s official video, shot/produced by Rim Town Media premiered on 9th June, 2021. The video was actually a remix featuring Zambian rapper Chef 187.
Recording a remix with Chef 187 was an all too pleasant surprise that got the already excited fans even more hyped. Dozens of fans can be quoted saying, “This is the collaboration we’ve been waiting for.”
The video features Yo Maps’ girlfriend, Kidist Kifle with a brief but clear sight of a baby bump at the end, a felicitous seal on the theme of the song.
